Setting Up Your Store

A step-by-step guide to getting your Kasify store ready to sell.

Welcome to Kasify

Congratulations on setting up your Kasify store. This guide is written for store owners — no coding knowledge required. Everything you need to launch your store is available right from your dashboard, and we'll walk through it all here step by step.

You do not need to touch a single line of code to run a fully functional online store on Kasify. The dashboard gives you complete control over your products, orders, customers, and storefront design.

Creating Your Account

  1. Go to kasify.com and click Get started free
  2. Enter your name, email address, and a password
  3. Choose a store name (e.g. "Bloom Candle Co.") — this is what your customers will see
  4. Choose a store URL — a short, memorable slug like bloom-candle (your store will live at bloom-candle.kasify.com)
  5. Click Create store — you're in

No credit card needed. No downloads. No setup. Your store is live the moment you register.

Once you're in, you'll land on your Dashboard Overview — your home base. From here you can see recent orders, total revenue, and quick links to every section of your store.

Tip: Bookmark your dashboard link so you can get back to it quickly. It looks like app.kasify.com/your-store-name.

Store Setup Checklist

Work through these five steps in order and your store will be ready to accept customers.

| Step | What to do | Where to find it | |---|---|---| | 1 | Set your store name and public URL | Settings → General | | 2 | Upload your logo and choose brand colors | Settings → Appearance | | 3 | Add your first product | Catalog → Products → New Product | | 4 | Customize your storefront homepage | Storefront → Page Builder | | 5 | Copy your store link and share it | Settings → General → Store URL |

Step 1 — Store Name and URL

Go to Settings → General. Enter the name of your store as you want customers to see it (e.g. "Bloom Candle Co."). Your store URL is the public address your customers will visit. Keep it short and easy to type.

Step 2 — Logo and Brand Colors

Go to Settings → Appearance. Upload your logo (PNG or SVG works best). Choose a primary color that matches your brand — this will be used for buttons, links, and highlights throughout your storefront. You can also pick your font style here.

Step 3 — Add Your First Product

Go to Catalog → Products and click New Product. Fill in the product name, write a description, set your price, and upload at least one photo. Click Save when you're done. Your product is saved as a draft until you set it to Active.

Step 4 — Customize Your Homepage

Go to Storefront → Page Builder. This is a drag-and-drop editor where you can build your store's homepage without any design skills. Add a hero banner with your store's headline, a product grid showing your best sellers, and a call-to-action section. See the Customizing Your Storefront guide for a full walkthrough.

Step 5 — Share Your Store Link

Once you're happy with how things look, copy your store URL from Settings → General and share it — post it on social media, add it to your email signature, or send it to your first customers.

Tips for a Strong Start

  • Fill in your store description in Settings → General. This text shows up in search engine results and helps new customers understand what you sell.
  • Use the Dashboard Overview every day. It shows your top-selling products, recent orders that need attention, and revenue at a glance — all without digging through menus.
  • Set up your notification email in Settings → Notifications so you get an alert every time a new order comes in.
  • Preview before publishing. The page builder has a mobile preview mode — always check how your homepage looks on a phone before sharing your link.
